Know Your Braves: Kelly Johnson
Even though it’s been hard to watch the past two days, hopefully we can get back on track. Bobby needs to shake up the lineup a bit or something to try to get this team going as a whole. Casey, Chipper, and Jeff can’t be the only ones that contribute. On a better note, this week on Know Your Braves features 2nd baseman, Kelly Johnson.

I’m not surprised by anything KJ said in this video. I either already knew it, or pretty much figured it was that way. In the video though, he gives shorter answers than the others, but I liked it for some reason. Definitely not as boring as Lowe’s video last week.
I never realized, though, that people thought he was from Atlanta as much as he suggests in the video. I can understand why that would be a misconception about him, though, because he’s always categorized and hangs out with the “Baby Braves” or Georgia Boys. I always knew that he was from Texas and apparently loves all things Texas still (he was supposedly going to Texas A&M to college before signing with the Braves and he’s a die-hard Texas Longhorns fan), as he said. He used to have a Texas tag on his Sequoia as well, but has since taken it off. And I had always wondered if he had any musical talent or not because of his weird different musical choices. Although, apparently now his tastes are not as out there as they used to be. But somehow I didn’t figure he was musically inclined. Also, I didn’t know that he was quite the impersonator.
