Josh Anderson Traded to Detroit Tigers
Josh Anderson has been traded to the Detroit Tigers for minor-league pitcher Rudy Darrow.
More info on this trade:
Josh Anderson seemingly entered Spring Training as the favorite to begin this season as Atlanta’s center fielder. But with the emergence of Jordan Schafer, Anderson became expendable.
The Braves ended their association with Anderson on Monday afternoon, when they traded him to the Tigers in exchange for right-handed Minor League pitcher Rudy Darrow.
I’m really not surprised by this trade with the way Schafer has been doing just about everything right to win the CF job and to prove he’s ready to be in the big leagues.
